In DT Coral class were creating circuits to understand how and why motors are used in certain products. The children had fun creating their electrical circuits to see if they could make their motors work.

Year 5 have been investigating the structure and purpose of rivers.
We found out that rivers form an import part of the Water Cycle and are essential for sustaining life on Earth. A river is split into three main parts: the Lower Course, the Middle Course and the Upper Course. Each part has a unique structure and purpose.
On Friday Coral class created silhouette templates inspired by the Victorians. They then used these to create screen prints. The children enjoyed using this new technique to produce beautiful pieces of artwork.
First we created a design before transferring these to card to create our templates. Finally using a screen printing technique, we created our final pieces.
