Today in class, we wrote letters to companies, informing them of the Heavers Farm Food bank and how it will help Heavers and local families and people. We asked if they would generously donate to our food bank, and told them exactly what they could donte to help.
We learned what a food bank was and why some people may need to to use a food bank. We looked at what the volunteers in food banks do and how they help to support and talk to those who may be in need.
